INSTRUCTOR: BERENIKA BOBERSKA | FALL 2019

HOUSE & HOUSING

The focus for this semester was in housing. Located on the corner of N Figueroa St and N Avenue 54 in Highland Park, this multi-unit residential building uses the concept of the “tree hollows” and carved out courtyards to create an interactive system of units. The concept for the design of the exteriors was derived from the homes that bees make for themselves in the hollows of trees.
